Though no offense, Piper and Paul's FD last season was for me not close to a masterpiece. I know a lot of people loved it, but there was little innovation or difficulty for the sake of it. I just can't get past thelift

I loved their passion in it. This year's FD is much much better though.

opinion shared. Carol Lane is not appreciated enough when you add Piper and Paul's repertoire.

I think she's brilliant. (However, sadly, the UK has lost some really talented skaters to Canada through Carol (Peter Beaumont, and lately, Billy Wilson-French).

That's just Piper and Paul though, and not the program. The theme was well chosen, but different choreography would have been more conductive, I think.

Oh no I was blissfully floating along to a beautiful, fast flowing waltz and a miscue on her steps broke the spell a bit. Very nice choice of music to show a different side to their skating.

This was pretty good from the young Czechs full of impressive moments.

Mrazkova though had a big mistake during one foot sequence.

Once again the Czech team manages to be amazingly fast and powerful yet get unacceptably low levels and make mistakes none of the lower ranked teams do. I will give one of my fake hips for them to switch coaches.
