Kamila seems to speak well I can't understand anything of course.

I wonder if they kept her out of this team event like with the Channel 1 Cup last year so that if the decision goes against her the whole team isn't forced to forfeit their prizemoney.

Valieva struggles a lot with the formal presentation but in the informal conversations she seems to get impressively comfortable with how little experience she has.

I agree she is very likely not actually sick/injured (whatever they said) and kept out for some other reasons whatever they might be, her own or the organization or what ever.

Definitely not more than Zagitova. Zagitova has gotten quite professional and has way more experience. Valieva is talented at this conversational stuff but still inexperienced.


Shcherbakova is definitely always super nervous and probably not really meant for this.

Its because they are athletes in other jumping sports

I dont know why there is an American though, its very rare to see a westerner who learned Russian from scratch and moved there. Wonder what his story is.
