Okay, I'm officially their biggest fan. They are cute, powerful, committed and half the size of everyone else. They skate so close and fast.

Where is @elektra blue when we need her?!
We have French Ice Dancers doing a typical French Ice Dance programme, wearing costumes that are bound to be nominees!
Although, I have to admit, the more I see Dania's dress, the more I am liking it.

In all seriousness, they are so cute, and you can't help but like them.
They go into 3rd in both the Free and overall.

I remember Lajoie/Lagha having a push-up move (though not exactly the same) in their character step for Bohemian Rhapsody back in 2019-20. Though I think they ditched it part way through the season maybe.

I'm sorry. I can't keep quiet any longer.
It took me ages to work out what the "push up" conversation was about. Because the exercise is called a "press up" over here.
Every time somebody says "push up", I think they are talking about bras!
Which made reading that conversation very amusing.

Very smooth! The French had more complex choreo but Nguyen/ Giang have very good skating skills!

wow... 7 and 8 now... not wishing this on anyone but one big mishap and Canada would retain 3 spots... which is something nobody would have predicted after all the retirements and going up to seniors of the last few years... but yeah.. not expecting this to happen at all... just saying

Nice lift to start with.
Ach, Ilia had a big stumble during the Twizzles.
But there didn't seem to be any issues that I spotted after that.
Have to be honest, I'm not sure I would have chosen that music. But I love Angelina's dress. Ilia's outfit is a bit bland in comparison, but it allows Angelina to be the belle of the ball.
I loved the way Angelina soaked up the atmosphere before they came off the ice. And then Ilia joined her.
It's been a long time, hasn't it? A full calendar year since their last competition.
They seem happy. And so they should be. It's been a long journey to get here, literally and metaphorically!
They go into 9th in the Free, and 6th overall.
It may not be the results they are used to but, given what has happened in the past 6 months, it is a great achievement.
So proud of them.
