I missed Elisabeth's SP because I had to go to bed, so this is my first time seeing her. Color me VERY impressed (and she is too, it seems like, I love that for her)!

Definitely much better than the Short for Elisabeth, her jumps were very solid today.

She lacks flow on her landings, and just overall at the moment, and her spins are fairly weak for a Jr Woman, but clearly the jumps are what they have been focussing on until now, and it has paid off.

Oh, that's surprising, considering I found her spins fairly weak. I would have expected Denise to teach stronger basics, but you can indeed lose qualities when you stop practicing them, especially when you are so young.

Very nice power and opening moves for Venla. I really like the use of her arms to some footwork done to the drum coda.

I think I remember this Finnish skater from Sonja Henie Trophy, she has a bit different style from other Finnish ladies. So fun and energetic Well done!

A lesser skater might have felt rushed trying to keep up with the driving drum, but she handled it easily, calmly and was able to accent its highlights and make herself memorable.

She is born in March 2011, I guess she must be one of the youngest skaters in this event?
