The opening was very strong for Yujae, but it lost a bit of steam at the end. The 3A looked like a double, so effortless. It's big music, and I don't know if it wholly worked especially when she started to fatigue at the end, but it was still overall a strong program. I agree with Mark's comments on the top half matching the music well, but the skating skills and speed don't perhaps match the tempo of the music.

Great skate apart from the 3Lo fall +REP. Should still be a big score though.

Mark & Ted talking about the choreography, I wonder if we know whether Yujae picked this song or whether the choreographer picked it for her? The warhorse of warhorse....

it's a very common issue, especially when you carefully select them, kind of an interiorized masochism i think. also at some point in our lives we all go through this phase

I got out of youtube, got back in and it's working but I completely missed Polina's skate and score. Now we have an adorable little swan and another bad cut.

Nobody saw Polina's skate. It was a problem at the ISU's end, not yours.

i knew after the loop was never going to work.. as soon as it went up... and especially after seeing the first one sigh

The girl is not close friends with the loop, she fell on her loop at last Nationals IIRC

Why are we giving Moulin Rouge to a 14 year old with winking and blowing kisses choreography? Aside from the music choice, Stefania is a great well-rounded skater, most of her jumps have good pop. She looked a little fatigued at the end, but fought for those last few jumps and PCS points.

Not untypical for Panova's skaters to be honest. Some have a bit more spring on some jumps, like Nastya Zinina's toe loops, but most of her skaters have overall comparatively small jumps.
Very efficient rotators though, and usually pretty well-rounded.
