Good performance promise from Leandra.

Very nice skating from Leandra. She has very good body awareness. I would like to see a bit more stretch through the knees in the spins. The music, while a fun choice for her, makes her skating look a bit choppy at times.

Malaguena is, I think, one of the easier ones to emote to, which makes it a good if predictable choice.

Pretty dress, though the wrist ruffles I could live without.

It's always nice having a skater that has a similar background to yourself. It's somebody that you can relate to.

And it encourages other people with that background to get interested in the sport.

Meda is very well centered over her blades in all her steps and especially her spins. The music is treacly and the costume matches it I guess. I am more focused on her lovely arms and again the very nice spins.
