Ok, I missed that performance, I was on the phone.

Apparently, there is confusion reigning at my parents' home right now.

To be brief, mom was hospitalized for a month in May (it was very touch and go for a while) but she recovered, and then spent a month in rehab.

She's getting around to having people come around to the house to visit her, she's back to near 100% in health. She had a lunch scheduled with some cousins next week.

Or so she thought. Apparently there was some confusion, and the cousins have showed up today, when mom and dad were not expecting them, so there's no lunch planned.

I'm waiting to see if mom and dad call me to ask me over to help them entertain. Given my late night last night for the two Halloween parties, I'd rather stay home and watch the rest of Ice Dancing. LOL
