2024 Grand Prix de France Men's Free Skate

Yes, I feel that Adam serves more face and personality when he skates. I feel nothing watching Ilia, but do admire and respect him as a jumper; his technical prowess is incredible and groundbreaking for the sport. Malinin is seriously overrated in PCS though, but I know he is getting that boost due to being reigning world champ, due to his consistency, and because of the great difficulty he executes in his programs. As long as Adam continues to blow his SP, the judges will never allow his marks to compete with Ilia. The judges really reward consistency!
Oh I agree that Ilya is definitely over scored, but I personally don't respond to Adam's skating either. So, higher SS scores, yes, but not the other PCS categories imho

Lots of men in the field who I find vastly superior performers and skaters to both of them. They are , however, among the best jumpers for sure.

erm... that TES score doesn't see right

I have not seen this program, and I am so excited! Moonlight Sonata (epic version) and A-Ha? It sounds deliciously bad! Is he doing a lot of crossovers around the rink? Yes. But he does have some really gorgeous quads when they're on - I prefer his landing position over Ilia's imo. His performance seems better, but the spins and skating skills are really hurting his TES and PCS scores. But he just made history, so congratulations! His TES score is going to go up by like 20 points bc of scorebox issues lol.

after the program, not a huge fan, not epically bad nor amazingly good

Well, it goes without saying that the dying on ice—or whatever that was, I haven’t seen the movie—is my favorite part. Wild!

Mikhail has beautiful jumps in the beginning of his program, but I wish he would do something other than dramatically point his arms in between them.

And that version of Moonlight Sonata is not good for someone who needs to improve transitions or choreo or performance. He should do techno Take on Me throughout the entire skate.

No one currently beats Yuma Kagiyama and Jason Brown in PCS; well, no one except Ilia on the judges’ scorecards, and that is wrong on so many levels! Ilia should be getting 6s in PCS if they are giving 9s to Yuma and Jason.
