Life is tough. In the US people are celebrating or mourning a lot right now. It's the best of times; its' the worst of times. It's the times. We all just try to survive. At least skating gives us a reprieve. Let's hope NHK has bettter skates than France that had to be the worst skating I have seen.
Life is tough everywhere, it seems. For me, figure skating is a total escape from reality. NHK is in my home country (although I haven't lived there for many years) and I am more invested in the skaters than at other GPs. The time difference is also manageable. I just pray that all participants skate to the best of their ability and there are no horrible falls/accidents.
Oh no....it's my birthday on Friday and I'll be out being wined (not too much) and dined during pairs and men's SP. And my yoga class clashes with the RD! Hopefully will make it home before women's SP. Saturday isn't much better!
Its like we are siblings. At an airport or cruise port hotel, I set 3 cell phones to go off and ask for a wake up call. I have a 7 am flight to San Diego next month and I got a room at at airport hotel. Ugh.
