Of course... but Sihyeong has been the number 2 Korean senior man for so long... so Minkyu needed to earn it, quadless. He was also in 4 th place before the LP.
Sihyeong didn't do the maths properly either.... It's nice he has a quad but considering it's not stable he needed to repeat the triple axel and triple lutz and not the triple toe. I think that may have given him the points he needed.

I'm waiting for Jaekeun's protocols, he should've been neck and neck with Minkyu with his SP lead yet he was placed far behind

Sihyeong's 3A is as consistent as his 4T, he can't afford the risk

ok. that's fair.. and his 3lz-3t is very good. but it does nix his 4t advantage.
in any case, you know where my preference is so I am pleased with the results. my 2 faves are 1-2

i am suspecting PCS. They jumped the same content... and he did his stuff well enough...

PCS differences can only make about 2-3 points of difference when both went clean, the TP was at play here and they were not letting Jaekeun go close to Minkyu, which I hate

scroll up a few posts... i wrote that i felt they were really placing them where they wanted.. they are all like 4 points higher than one another until Jun who is like 20 points... i mean the term "ranking" competition seems quite clear here... i felt i was watching ice dance judges...
BUT then, what else can they do when all skaters jump the same content ? pick which one they liked best ?

My darling can and should get all the points his layout and skate bring him because he is that brilliant, and thus his gigantic gap is 100% just, but for the rest I want fair judgement. Especially with Jaekeun and Hyungyeom, they are so underappreciated outside Korea and that trend is not supposed to continue in the country as well ffs

I was surprised to see Jia with a new FP, it's beautiful and I love Liebestraum, but I'm gonna miss Daphnis et Chloe...
Chaeyeon is dominating in Korea this year, but I also have to say that Jiyu Huh has absolute star quality - obviously not everything worked out, but you see visible difference between her and other young skaters (who or also very good, don't get me wrong). You watch her and just can see that she's gonna fight for medals from her debut junior season
also, I was so stressed for Junhwan but he somehow did it against all odds
