2024 South Korean Figure Skating Ranking Competition

The fact that KSU is making their top male skater (and it's not even close, even though I love the other Korean lads) skate on an extremely injured ankle, after years of chronic issues and pulling out of a GP, at a stupid domestic event so he can get named to a team that he will make regardless because he is the top Korean skater, is completely mind-boggling and speaks to an absolutely extraordinary level of incompetence. I hope that he stays safe today and heals up quickly, and I hope KSU will learn soon that they are the reason why their skaters are perpetually injured and burnt out.

So many wonderful skaters in Korea, and their worst enemy is their own federation... :(

I don't get it, doesn't KSU want any success?

Fretting along with you all for Junhwan's ankle.

Like... how the actual f did my darling do that... he was literally unable to jump a 1A during morning practice he was wincing after doing a walley jump like how just how... I'm in tears and my legs are shaking

Exciting end to the ladies SP.
The crowd really loved Haein and I did too. It is so nice to see her competing.
Loved her program. Despite a fall with the 3F in the end, the program was sexy and full of fire. I loved it. Hoping she moves up from 10th to top 6 after the free skate.

C. Kim is clearly the best skater and earned her first place. Jia Shin, also fell on her last triple. But, is still in 2nd place.
Wi in 3rd was 👏
I hope she can hold on to secure her 4CC spot.
Yeoseong Kim at 4th is ready to pounce to the podium spot. Hopefully, her 3A is working. She has the JGP finals next week 😳

Ahsun in 5th is having a great season. I hope she can hold on to 4-6 to bag the 4CC spot.

I forgot who finished in 6th, but, I just want to highlight Dabin Choi, who placed in 12th. She is so consistent and lovely to watch.

Ko - junior girl, singled her toe after the 3Lz. I think she forgot this is not juniors and she can do a combo on the flip. She is in the 13-18 range.

The hypocrisy of the KSU is crazy. They are quick to suspend athletes as they are trying to create a safe environment for all, yet they throw on the ice someone who is severely injured. Where is the safety in that ?
