I think one doesn't necessarily qualify. They're down to 23 spots awarded here but there are 24 skaters in the free. It's a slight change from the last Olympics.

I was wrong. There's one less spot in the qualifier, not here. So free guarantees an Olympic spot if only one entry from that federation.

It's 24 spots being awarded in Singles here. Pairs and Ice Dance are the only ones with fewer spots than free skate qualifiers.

This was a nice Beatles medley - starting out with a lesser-known, slower song to get the opening difficult jumps done is a really smart program choice, and the music editing was well-done as well. The opening jumps were really lovely, with the exception of the wonky pop, but she was definitely more focused on the technical elements today, which makes it difficult to sell a program that requires a lot of performance, and the program started to slip away a bit in the second half.
