Thanks for the correction. Two G/Ps, and the Mrazeks also. Also, Gadbois is the rink in Montreal, while C/P train in Ontario mainly. Still dominated by IAM teams, but not 8/10.
I would agree on rewatching it from 4cc... I'm not usually a big fan of them but it was stunning there and they attacked it to win. Tonight, not so much, it felt a bit labored and more intentional, but technically clean. Chock and Bates were captivating, and Italians felt not perfect but still should have beat Brits in my opinion.Said it before....the dance I will watch again is Piper and Paul's. Madison and Evan are great but I just don't get the same connection. Charlene seemed pretty unhappy. That robot FD was never a big point getter.
Boston crowd was great and really shows the importance of skaters picking music that connect with the audience and then performing their hearts out.
That's a bit unfair, they are only being compared because British skating is so lacking in skating results, I know the media like to compare them but that's not Lewis and Lilah's doing.Gibson would be still ok. But Fear? Duh
They qualify a spot. The only country that didn't qualify a spot in the free was Australia. So did the Germans not qualify a spot because all the multiple spots awarded?
Naah....I think they want Olympic gold. Not my pick but I wish them well.Yeah, this competition was bad scoring wise even for Ice Dance standards.
Also, that was an awfully long hug. Yeah, sure, third Worlds win & a win at home, but it does make me wonder if they are anticipating this being their last Worlds.![]()
But if we look at the multiple spots, that's already more than allotted, leave GER, KOR, and AUS outThey qualify a spot. The only country that didn't qualify a spot in the free was Australia.

Georgia and Spain have the chance to qualify a second in Beijing out of the pool of available spots there. They haven't been awarded the second spot yet, they need to compete for it.But if we look at the multiple spots, that's already more than allotted

Perfect! I wasn’t sure which took precedent.Georgia and Spain have the chance to qualify a second in Beijing out of the pool of available spots there. They haven't been awarded the second spot yet, they need to compete for it.

I said last Worlds, not last competition. They're definitely going for the Olympics, but probably not the Worlds immediately afterwards (as is common for the Olympic season).Naah....I think they want Olympic gold. Not my pick but I wish them well.
Shared a short of S/D’s final choreo lift with my FS hating nephew and he LIKED it!! Could it be Dune?!I'm so happy they're getting a small medal for their Dune free dance.
They downgraded the element. How did that review turn out?
Italy is in the same boat as Spain and Georgia, they only have one spot with the potential to get a second in Beijing.Perfect! I wasn’t sure which took precedent.
But even then KOR won't qualify?
Since they only allocated 19 spots for worlds.
Thank you!Italy is in the same boat as Spain and Georgia, they only have one spot with the potential to get a second in Beijing.
How do you know which judge is which? I thought the ISU said the order of judges doesn’t align with the number on the board.KOR CHN and ITA put Piper and Paul in first. THANK YOU
UKR didn't like Piper and Paul and even put them in 6th for TES.
S/D was put all over the place including 9th place from the US judge
G/F was also put in 6th place from US judge but in 9th place from the Korean judge
No surprise with the USA judge putting CPOM in 3rd
Fear Gibson in 2nd from Ukr and Aze... and in 9th from CHN ( I am starting to like the Chinese judge)
LALA : crazy stuff... from 4th from the USA judge, to 12 from Ukr and Svk
Clearly, the Ukrainian judge doesn't like the Canadian teams but put Davis and Smolkin as high as 5
Korean judge really likedYuka and Juho and put them in 7th
that's not my understanding at all. and i took this from skating scores. How do you know which judge is which? I thought the ISU said the order of judges doesn’t align with the number on the board.
That rule changed in 2016, the judges are in order of the number assigned to them on the scoring sheets nowadays. How do you know which judge is which? I thought the ISU said the order of judges doesn’t align with the number on the board.
