Where are y'all finding out this information? I feel like I'm missing a lot of updates from these smaller competitions. I keep up with figure skating news through Blades and Banter podcast and Scoreography on YouTube.

why do Olympics have to be warhorse fest? why? and why Bocelli? why?

because.... Italy... all your fault :)

Thennnnn let's see some Maneskin!

I know everybody else has their focus on the Olympics, but Senior Worlds are in Prague this coming season. So it would be nice to have some programmes to Czech music thrown into the mix as well.

Personally, I quite fancy a bit of Lucie Vondráčková... ;)

Hey, she even has a song called "Thin Ice" which features Tomáš Verner in the video! (They were an item back then).

Lucie Vondráčková - "Tenkej Led"

And here is Tomáš doing an exhibition programme to the song, which Lucie is singing live in the arena:

Tomáš Verner - 2008 Králové Ledové Arény EX

Or, for something that works as a reference to both Senior Worlds and the Olympics, maybe a song by Alpine snowboarder / Alpine skier Ester Ledecká's Dad, Janek Ledecký.

Just a thought.

[Sorry for the off-topic post. I would have posted it in the 2026 Season Music Suggestions thread, but the posts I am replying to were here. If the Mods want to move my post, or even the whole conversation, to the other thread, I don't mind].

🤣😂😅 At least, these teams did a bang up job and had a lot fun with this loud song. Exhibition use after all. 😉 Plus, Mishina/ Galliamov included it as a part of a rock/ pop medley, and it worked okay. 🤭🫣
We weren't talking about how they used it. We're talking about how annoying the music was.

I love Kill Bill for Hana and I wouldn‘t be unhappy if she brings back her Crane Free Program, too!
