They're not as comfortable with this Free skate as they are with the Short and probably also just felt the pressure a little. Still a huge jump in level for them. Ambitious technical content for a team in only their second season in pairs, and she has such nice lines.

W/L have great great lifts... but for a team that earned a medal at JWC two years ago... I am surprised they haven't seemed to improve on SBS jumps and throws.

Only double throws and the triple toe is still not working out for them, but otherwise a very well-polished program and lovely elements. It's a medal, and they are very happy about that.
