2025 JGP Riga Cup Men's Free Skate

I prefer the look and feel of Yanhao, but he had enough mistakes to let Genrikh lead. Of the two I prefer Yanhao as the better overall skater. But points are points.
for me there is no discussion here. Yanhao is a well rounded skater and i will remember watching him even at 7:07am... GG... already forgotten everything but his opening combo

Well lets see how Grayson handles the quest for a medal. I think he will be fine.
His music is from Demon Slayer and I will predict he slays his. I expect Brian O will have prepared him well. His consistency and performance has improved a great deal, but I still do not find the program particularly memorable.

GG

that quad lutz triple toe combo was so nice and clean... the rest of the jumping wasn't that fabulous.... but the base value carries him...

I don't know if i will be able to appreciate him as a skater because he is not really listening to his music.
What I love about watching junior skaters includes the hope that their skills are still growing so maybe/hopefully learning to listen to music will be a skill he learns.

i get what you are saying... from my experience with young musicians... :) i know.. it's not quite the same.... at 17, i doubt that there will be no improvement in that sense of course, but I can also tell that he will probably never be musical and expressive enough for my particular taste.

Well, I think I put Grayson in my predictions, but he still managed to outperform my hopes & expectations.
Even with the fall, that's a (silver?) medal.
I had him in 5th and then removed him... but if he does finish 2nd... i wouldn't have had points LOL..

after my 5 points for women... i feel like i have popped my way through this event lol
