(she is my fave Canadian lady)
I do wonder now about Fee Ann, Breken and Amy’s latest WD’s. These are the three ladies closest to getting international assignments, besides Gabby. Are they not competing because they are upset and maybe just want to focus for Sectionals/Challenge/Nationals.
or is it cause there is no need to compete because they got something lined up. I would have thought they’d at least try at the last respective domestic events.
It seems like Canada is putting all their eggs into the international 178+ five:
Maddie, KMS, SMD, Uliana, Kaiya

it's pretty good to have these five... a couple years ago we had... Maddie and only Maddie.
My fave is SMD but with Fée Ann a close second. Fée Ann hasn't done much this year to be sent anywhere. I was hoping she would turn up at Nice but not even there.

Breken is on the start orders for Skate Ontario October, so she should be there in two weeks (same warm-up group as Katherine and Minsol for the short too.) There may have been some other factor that caused the withdrawals, hopefully nothing serious.

I always loved to see how far she could get with only 3T and 3S in her arsenal.

Uliana : Voilà !
This is getting closer. Very proud of her. She is singing along and somehow, it's helping her because now, she is listening to the music. Big improvement that way. I usually feel a bit bored watching her but this time, the program went by so fast.
Very happy for her.
On top of that, after a tough lutz, she just backloaded a triple flip triple toe combo... like a pro.
I am very pleased for her and I think with a SP skated like this, she would be happy at SCI.

Uliana showed she is a fighter.
She didn’t bother adding the 3T to her lutz after a shaky landing. Instead, she backloaded with the 3F 3T.

Wong/Conforti withdrew, so it was only Ritchie/Dunn competing in Junior Pairs. They have Reel Around The Sun for their short (same as Menard/Dunn had.) Only a 1Tw right now and she had a fall on the death spiral, it looked like a good start for them since she's new to the discipline.
