Based on technical content and consistency, there are only very few teams with any chance of beating Kovyazina / Mokhov. I can't deny that their presentation is quite typical for Junior pairs (i.e. still very much in development), but there is no way to make up for those TES points they earn so easily.

They also seemed much faster than the other pairs I watched. The gap was clear to me just from the opening Twist. It was seamless.

As I got it from Kolyada's words, the music is from a movie about Pushkin. So I presume she performs as his wife.

Sofia Fedotova really misleads with her body, she looks like barely 13 but she actually is 16 already.

Completely different skater from last season. The PCS improvement is night and day.

I fell for that too. There is apparently a Sofia Sergievna, who skated here, and a Sofia Nikolaevna. The latter is 16.

Sharapova is very fun, and energetic. The program is incorrigibly directionless though, which isnt her fault—the music is completely meaningless.

Ah I know whom I mistook Fedotova with, Anna Lyashenko was a girl at the test skates who was 16 but looked much younger. I somehow confused one with another.
