Kaori. Pretty dress and a good program. Great skate.

That was incredible. I have not always been the biggest Kaori fan because of her lack of difficult choreo in the past. But, now she has everything choreo, SS, and great jumps. It should be the highest FS score of the season.

No nerves from her is the most crazy thing about her.Looking at her like this it's nearly impossible to imagine she can lose Olympics.

Wow, Kaori!!! I'm gonna be so sad to see her retire because I absolutely love her and her skating, but this as a send-off program for her is just amazing. Just incredible <3

Wow - Amazing job by Kaori!! How lovely for her to have this moment in front of the home crowd. This is not my favourite program of hers by any stretch, but she skated beautifully. Her skating skills, power, and speed are so impressive! I really like the top half of her costume (and the big earrings), but not the skirt. I feel like the costume would have looked better all in one colour.

Nooo the REP... but I really love this program, whoever had the idea to choose Sunset Boulevard for Sofia gets it, there's a grande dame quality to her movements that makes it a great fit to the music and voice (is this Nicole Schezinger's recording?). Love her singing with the lyrics at the end. Very enjoyable watch.

I thought yesterday that Samodelkina's double axel looks so easy for her that the triple axel wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for Sofia to master. I've heard she was learning some quad anyway, am I right?

Overally nice 2nd group that saves the competition.Nice showing from Top 2/3/4.Nice to see there are still some people that will fight in Olympics and can deserve amazing programs.

What a skate from Kaori and it's a landslide victory, over 27 points above the 2nd place.

Results are quite right. Loena and Young had quite similar TES but Loena better PCS and IMO it was right. And easy win for Kaori, Sofia dsereved her silver. Nothing to complain about last 4. It was worth or watching anyway though I complained earlier. No GP next weekend live because of time difference, maybe just something on the Saturday morning if there is anything and then live event after two weeks. Nice I could watch something today anyway.

This dress... if the SP dress takes me back to Kaori's first senior season SP (Moonlight Sonata), the FS dress takes me back to her second senior season, the From My First Moment SP, the one that took second at both JNats and Worlds. The season where I quietly thought to myself, she is the best Japanese woman for me, and if the opportunity presents itself, her skating is worthy for the big titles.

With every performance, I thank her for not quitting 6 years ago, because I can't imagine not having her skating skills as the standard to beat in the women's.

What a final FP at NHK for Kaori! She made it look easy, flying into and out of her jumps. I really like that two footed glide on a tight circle to a pause at the start of Je ne regrette rien. Was unimpressed by the stream freezing in the climactic spin, as the roar from the crowd began to build. I loved that she finished early and yet her celebration as she brought her fists down was timed perfectly to the music. Season's best for her, and she wins by a mile.

The final is part of the Grand Prix, so she will skate that, but yes, she has said she will retire after this season.

Also, isn't Petrosian allowed to compete at the Olympics??
