Yuka and Yuho are such fun performers. Did I see they got PSt 2 from these picky judges?

Much better outing for Yuka & Juho. I like the changes they made. The original version while fun was almost a mockery of some requirements. This version is more musical and much better. I love them- so fun!

Based on the current results, I'm ready to break out the second round of the Ice Dance Scoring Under the Dictatorial Eye of ISU Ice Dance Chair Shawn Rettstatt Drinking Game! As a reminder, it's one sip for level 1s, two for the level Bs, three for the ! on choreo elements, and four for twizzle falls, lift errors and other ice dance disasters. Based on the first group, here are our current results...

• Level 1 steps/turns: 10
• Level B steps/turns: 1
• ! choreo elements: 2
• Falls & other assorted ice dance disaster errors: 1

equals....

• Total sips of alcohol taken (theoretically): 2.2
  • Equivalent glasses of wine drunk: 2.2

And we still have another group to come

I'm not feelin' this program yet. Again, I just hate medleys - although this was not as infuriating as Shibutani one. But this performance also felt slow and cautious, lacking their usual energy.

he has an agenda. I think he is the guy who didn't like virtue and Moir back then...

He and Judy make time for Igor's camp and are supportive of monitoring skaters there. (Don't know how often they get to other training centers; I assume they do but how often I don't know.)

Thought I read in passing that Emilea got some feedback on costuming from Rettstatt's spouse. It's smart to have support in strategic places; a big part of ice dance.

Rettstatt is American and V/M were Canadian. They had to hustle in their career even if they were generational talent. (With D/W being exciting and worthy opponents.)

My spouse thinks this quad in skating has moved ice dance way closer to theater on ice. Bring back the patterns!
