2025 South Korean Figure Skating Ranking Competition

55 points first place? There is not a single future star coming from Korea?

Thanks to Ichat. Due to the time shift, I may have to split things up but oh well....The main thing is that this is available.....I made score sheets but ran out of steam in putting down how they all did last year and who moved up....

Well, I am clueless here. The link for day one only went 2 hr 17 min, to the start of jr ladies sp group 3...then nothing. Cant find anything on the Korean youtube channel. Anyone know what's going on?
OK, I somehow blundered onto this link for the entire day one.

55 points is in line with (or even higher than) what current (Korean) top Juniors/fresh Seniors scored when they were competing as Juniors domestically (Yes, including Jia). The highest domestic Junior SP score of the past Olympic cycle was 59.35, and Yuseong was a "full-fledged" Junior at that point already, and 1.5 years older than Jina is now.

As was pointed out, lots of these skaters are international Novices, and at this age a lot can change in a year or two - Both to the positive and the negative. Some of the medal winners went on to win multiple JGP medals (Jia, Minsol, the twins, ...) others struggled to make a mark in a stacked field (for example Jiyu Kim and Gyuri Lee so far), while skaters who placed lower rose to the top later on (like Chayeon). You never know how life is going to play out.

Thanks to Ichat. I Probably enjoyed Jiwon Moon's performance the most but congrats to Jina Choi. Most skilled skater there in ladies.
I have no idea why Ichat's video links work for only two hours then I have to root around the web for a second link for the final 3 hours of the day. Then on my desk top I send the second link to myself via PM and open it on my lap top near my big screen. But at least that song and dance has worked so far for the first two days. Probably something to do with google. Anyway, Google translate isnt exactly perfect when it comes to decoding Korean names! :palmf:
