2025 South Korean Figure Skating Ranking Competition

hi there... I have been watching Canadian Challenge (qualifying competition for Nationals) all day... would you be so kind to give me a schedule for senior men ? when are they skating ? It's 10:46 PM here... (just a rough amount of time before they skate would do... if it's in a couple hours at most I may join in to see gorgeous skating by nice Korean men)

10:50pm to 12:12am your time 😝

younghyun cha : very handsome skater with very elegant posture and good flow.

I enjoyed him (don't worry @Ichatdelune I know he is yours)

music : he should have stuck to the intro of the Tchaikovsky ... the fact that he skipped the entire concerto and the cadenza to go from intro to coda is weird to my ears.

so right now ! omg. that's a lot of skating in a row for me.
I tried to remember all the comps I have watched this year....I lost count.
But this is one of the comps I love. In preperation for the Ladies FS, I watched Kim Yuna skate her epic Les Mis FS from 2013 worlds...I know I keep saying this but after 23 seconds, Scotty and who? Andrea? just shut up...when he did speak he said.."Flawless...completely flawless. "
I also watched 2018 GP Skate America and Finlanda. Love Kaori's "Piano".
Sure I care about who wins and who becomes eligible for what comp tonight....but mostly I just enjoy the artistry...
Best wishes to everyone....remember to have fun! And all Glory is fleeting...

it's just that I have been watching Canadian challenge all day... so it's been what 12 hours of skating for me. I am stopping after the men here.

Bravo Jun !!!!! That was amazing. I prefer him with a watered down content but clean. Laces were getting lose ... scary but he was almost done... so I didn't get nervous for too long.

Gosh.. three flawless skates in a row. Bravo Minkyu

If only that had happened at Canadian challenge LOL... it was a pretty bad event today. Of course, the top skaters do not have to take part but still.

Okay... I like Habin too and he has quite the arsenal already but the popped axel and the tight 3 jump combo, and the PCS should be lower than Seo and Cha here...

I don't know what kind of lead he had in the SP so I don't know where he will end up but for me, this is the third best perhaps even fourth best LP of the night.

Okay so I was right.. he ends up in 3rd place. I am happy about this. Cha probably lost this on his three jump combo as well...

Wow... I love Minkyu but I am surprised he beat Cha here.
I am not amused with Minkyu's scores either, not because my darling is in second, he popped his quad sal during the short while Minkyu was clean so that would've been the deciding factor, but it kinda is too high. And I am one of the people that have stood by his domestic scores for like 3 years now

I would need to see the detailed scores but my feeling is that Cha may have lost a couple points on the Euler combo. However, how is Minkyu 5 points ahead in the LP ? I don't know because Cha's choreography and presentation were very good, better than Seo's.
Minkyu did manage to skate very well and brought the audience to a special place but his program is not as complex. So I'd give a 3-5 points edge to Cha in PCS. So in the end, Cha should have won the LP but Minkyu may have still won the event ?

Perhaps the judges scored Minkyu higher to protect him from Habin. With JGPF coming next week, it may have been important for the Fed to have Minkyu as the winner.

Habin is exciting but seeing the last 4 guys back to back, he is my least favourite of the 4. He is still very young so there is no worry here but yeah...
Just my opinion of course.
