I have been very careful with my health and this stupid cold is really beating me up right now and is a bit worrisome with pain in my right lung. I will go back to sleep as soon as I can and may take tomorrow off just to be safe. (bonus - i would get to see more skating)

It's one of those mornings. I was having breakfast during the resurfacing, and I just went back into the kitchen to butter a slice of toast, and discovered that I hadn't pushed the handle on the toaster down!

Just the head is better, the lungs not so good right now. I have a long list of respiratory illnesses dating back to my skating days. The reemergence of a one that slipped past all my safeguards is disconcerting. I have literally done nothing as I do not have the energy and too much pain too move around freely.

I can teach you to count to ten! Ichi (1), Ni (2), San (3), Shi or Yon (4, yon is used more often), Go (5), Roku (6), Shichi or Nana (7, equally used, I think), Hachi (8), Kyuu (9), Juu (10).

Yes, that is concerning. Especially for somebody like you who is in the medical profession.

Just rest up, look after yourself, enjoy the skating, and don't even think about the lab!
