2026 World Figure Skating Championships | Rhythm Dance

In what way subtle? They are behind the Brits. I hate that it works like that but considering how many judges IAM have here, there's no way to be subtle.
they are very very close and didn't have to wait for their turn like so many other great teams.

I mean, they are ahead of LB, CPom, LaLa, Smart and Dieck (though I am not a fan of the latter)

a couple years ago, people would even wonder if they would make it out to international assignments considering the US crew and now they are USA number 1 team, within podium reach within 2 years.

The only other drastic ascension I have seen of the sort was Pap Ciz.

i like this order.

I don't. I used the order I wanted as my Predictions, even though I knew fine well it wouldn't be like that:

  1. Piper GILLES / Paul POIRIER (CAN)
  2. Emilea ZINGAS / Vadym KOLESNIK (USA)
  3. Marjorie LAJOIE / Zachary LAGHA (CAN)
  4. Evgeniia LOPAREVA / Geoffrey BRISSAUD (FRA)
  5. Lilah FEAR / Lewis GIBSON (GBR)

see you later for women

Not me, I'm afraid. This was my last LIVE skating of the week. I'm in full motorsport mode from now on, with Formula 1, World Superbikes, and MotoGP all on this weekend.

By rights, I shouldn't have been watching the Dancers at all. But, kids.

One of the truly 90s programs. I still picture the video with the weird dog head when I hear this daft punk song
what I appreciate with Lopareva Brissaud is that no matter the ill-chosen theme the ISU Ice dance committee imposed on the RD, they always brought fun, quirky, different and well imagined RDs. Last year's was also brilliant and the year before too. I love them.

Hmm, to be honest I don't think they should be behind any of those teams but ice dance is subjective.
Agree, they didn't have to wait so long but it's a good thing. Although I do wish it was equally applied to all teams, there's a lot of talent stucked behind without enough agenda working for their favour.
Personally I do find Zingik exeptionally talented so the fast track doesn't bother me but I get your point.
And I say that not even as their fan, their material is not my cup of tea at all.

indeed. it's subjective.

that's the problem. if there is a wait for your turn game, especially for instance as there is a number 1 team in your own country and you are stuck below (like LaLa for their entire career since they won Junior worlds) it should be for everyone... which is not the case here.

I find him fabulous. I find her strong and a brilliant athlete but not as fabulous on the blades yet.
I like them. It's nothing against them. I just don't like the judges LOL
