Mathematically, it doesn’t appear possible unless heave forbid another team is forced to withdraw. 10 teams left to skate and Mrazeks are currently 1st and Taschlers are currently 8th. 11+18 =29 and they need 28 or less.

you don't need to worry about the Taschlers. They get 16 automatic points for making the FD.

So top 12 was needed for the Mrazkeks.
They are in first place now, with ten teams to go... So they will finish in the top 12 for sure and CZE will retain their spots.

I wasn't sure whether this is gonna be enough for Mrazeks to beat Green/Parsons as they had their errors but they did it and I'm glad they did even though I like the American team too. They made people in Prague happy.

T/V update: Juulia told in interview that Matthias' back pain today was so bad he could barely walk around, and he couldn't do morning practice. Some attempts were made to relieve the pain, but there was not enough time

I am catching up on the first few teams during the break and just watched their skate, LaLe were fantastic, their climb is well deserved.

Well, what a relief that Czechia will still have 2 teams for next season. I wish the broadcast commentators would do a better job of explaining that and maybe they do in other nations, but definitely not in the US.

Sadly I am pretty sure you are correct.

and with the juniors coming up from the USA... they have like three teams in recent years with success at JWC (Browns, Neset/Markelov and Aboian Veselukhin) I feel that there will be some rough ruffling in the pecking order of US national dance teams... I cannot imagine some of these teams having to wait for their turn too long.. When that happens, some mid-range teams just vanish...

So be prepared... if you are not Emilea and Vadym, nothing is guaranteed for the next quad. Even CPom could be ditched...

No, unfortunately. The rationale is, I think, that team 21 had still 20 teams above them, so they have no business competing in the finale. I don't agree, but that's it. Other sports, such as swimming, call the next athlete in line if someone withdraws.
The audience would certainly like to see a full roster.
