and with the juniors coming up from the USA... they have like three teams in recent years with success at JWC (Browns, Neset/Markelov and Aboian Veselukhin) I feel that there will be some rough ruffling in the pecking order of US national dance teams... I cannot imagine some of these teams having to wait for their turn too long.. When that happens, some mid-range teams just vanish...

So be prepared... if you are not Emilea and Vadym, nothing is guaranteed for the next quad.

And rightly so. I loved Jean-Luc's (and also Gabby Papadakis's) analyses about why Emilea and Vadym have seemingly jumped over the teams who've been waiting "their turn" in the fabled Ice Dance tradition.

I admit I'm also a person who loves to see the predicted order shaken up and stirred.

it's true that this dance makes them look good. they have refined their movements a lot.. however, they are NOT skating to the music. I couldn't associate the movements with the pulse nor the phrasing most of the time.

Lovely from Diana and Gleb. The quality of ice dance teams is insane. There is not a bad team in the top 20.

Travel back and forth across the US/CAN border can be very time consuming. Actually where I am from, there are two different borders one from Detroit and another from the thumb area.

It would be quickest for her to live in Port Huron and take Blue Water Bridge to Sarnia. Fortunately, if you cross into the US before midnight on Friday and leave after midnight Monday morning, you get credit for 4 days in the US (any part of a day counts as the whole day).

I am fine with Emilea and Vadym passing the other American teams. What I am saying is that these teams who just got passed by ZK will probably also get passed very soon by the younger teams coming up the ranks.

What about the top 3 US dancers, particularly Caroline and Michael?

I view Gr/Pa similar to F/G in this regard. They are more known for their flashy lifts than their skating skills. I think Z/K will remain the top American team under the new changes.

possible. CPom may get closer though. I would imagine that it may be easier for them to skate a waltz for instance than for Emilea.

Is that Ilia doing more voiceovers during the Lithuanian program? "God is a DJ because when you're a DJ, you are something. You are not nothing. You mix music for people to be inspired to listen to and dance to and you get money when you do that. Hopefully your audience can hear the music and dance to it. It's good for DJs to be able to do DJ things because then they are something."
