Barring a superhuman effort with extreme extreme marks (AKA basically no chance at all), they've got the gold now. And Meryl and Charlie pretty much have the silver.

Here's hoping Tanith and Ben can pull into 3rd. And I hope if they don't, that at least it's due to fair scoring.

I think both teams should have been (and were scored) pretty equally on TES (.3 separating them). To me it was the emotional aspect and the lightness of their skating, and the believability of it - that is just something to me that no other team can match right now.

Exactly. Despite the obvious power in Davis/White's presentation, I think Virtue/Moir had the stronger program by far. They just make everything look so easy. Effortless skating from them. I wish it was a little closer because you knew the instant it hit 110 you were gonna get the "hometown judging "cries, but it was beautiful.

The thing is, V/M and D/W's free dances are completely different. One is intense and powerful, the other is soft and sweet. Yes, both are skated to the max. V/M and D/W could have a tie if it was possible because both programs were THAT good. You can give gold to both in the categories of intensity and sweetness.

That's the point of hometown cooking, they get graded higher then they should of. Davis and Meryl were on a different level then anyone tonight

Wow, D/S were really rough. They should not be on the podium. B/A deserves to get on the podium. But may be they were too far ahead of B/A after the OD, which would be a shame for B/A.
