Carreira & Ponomarenko were cute as bugs at Lake Placid IDC last month where they placed second in the ISU Junior competition to the Parsons who won last week JGP.

I think C&P have a shot at the silver if they skate their best. Popova/Vlasenko should win easily. Thauron and Abachkina of FRA are good too

Very weak field in ice dance. I love Betina but I wish they've chosen less cringe-worthy music for their FD :disapp: :disapp: :disapp: At least for me. I wish them the best still.

LOL. I had to look up the FD music after reading your post. It almost made me feel better about M&C's Carmen. Almost. Sometimes, with juniors, I just tell myself to be grateful the skaters are getting certain programs out of their system before hitting the senior ranks.
