Joannie Rochette 4CC exhibition to "Summertime":good choice. very much her style. I think she did an exhibition to "Summertime" once, but i may be wrong.
Wow!!! that was super. If she throws in a couple of triple condos, she could win the SP with that. But judges, imo, tend not to go for American type music. I hope the judges can get passed that.Joannie Rochette 4CC exhibition to "Summertime":

Bibi, you put Myriane Samson's program up on youtube, too!

Was there a problem with the ice? All the ladies seemed to be having a relatively tough time.
I have recently found a video of carolina kostner doing an exhibition program whose set up looks more like it could possibly be her new sp for the upcoming season... a rather quite piece of music , so no tango as expected....

Dube and Davidson skated really well for so early in the season. She even landed the throw lutz! I really can't see much modern carmen in the music... pretty traditional to me. I love the spiral/spread eagle before the throw loop and the eding pose, but other than that the chreography did not seem very Carmen to me at all and (athough the lack of close-up made it hard to be fair) they did not seem to really get into character.
Sarah Meier
SP Samba
I can't see Sarah M. pulling of a samba. not her style.
I got the same feeling - it seemed somehow blah. The tech was really good and impressive (seems like they include the triple twist now). The choreography isn't outstanding IMO - I hope that it will improve, but they don't strike me as a couple that will somehow make this music their own, as Lysacek did or as Lambiel could do.
