2013 Worlds Men LP

The Canadian audience is booing Joubert's low score. Rather amusing (he certainly finds it so).

Questions after Chan

A. Did this really score better than Rostelcom?
B. What should the fall deduction be?
C. Is this the absolute weirdest WC ever?
D. Why do some people even bother to watch FS if everybody sucks according to them?
E. Do fans care too much about falls?
F. Do you want me to judge the men's competition?
G. Where can I get more thin mints?

:p

1. No, not the long. The short did, and deservingly so.

2. I don't know

3. Probably

4. Masochists with a high opinion of their own opinions.

5. Yes, but I'd argue that Chan's flaws extended beyond the jumps.

6. Don't know you well enough.

7. Don't know, sorry.

Joubert not appreciated at all by the judges. I was in Gothenburg in 2009, and Joubert and Buttle had the skate of their life. Joubert with technical difficulty and Buttle with artistry and clean performance. I loved Jeffrey's performance to bits and thought he would probably win, but also at the time, I don't think the margin was justifiable.

Look at that TES 65. He's 16th in TES. At least he's ahead of his countryman.

He must've gotten som DGs or lost levels or something.

Oh come on judges really?!?!?!?! Are you KIDDING me!?!?!?!

And this right here is why so many people trash figure skating as not being a sport...

Frank Carroll is going to be legendary now, if he wasn't already.

In a dead sport, of course.

FS: 65.81 + 82.28 = 148.09
Tot: 232.26, in 7th (out of 22)

Audience is whistling complaining...

Hilarious thing is PJ said it was the PCs which brought Brian down....but in fact, it was actually the TES.....
