GP are closely watched by feds. If they qualified for the GPF, they would have had a chance against WP for silver at nationals. Now it's gone unless HD don't show up on the ice.

While everything you are saying is likely correct, it's the major reason why so many people can't get too enthusiastic about ice dance.

I can't help but compare theirs with Weaver/Poje's SD this season. I'm already looking forward to seeing them at Cup of China. I know this is unfair....but the young French team's development is evident.
