2016 Worlds videos w/ NO results/spoilers!

Dear forum,

If anyone is willing to put videos here (can just be cut/paste from the videos/results thread) so that some of us can watch without knowing the results in advance, I would be very, very grateful.

Cheers :thumbsup::big grin:.

THIS! :agree:

The video and result thread always has the scores in parenthesis which spoils the whole thing. I have to use either Youtube or sportbox.ru to not get spoiled if I miss a tourney.

By the way, since this thread is gonna be a duplicate of the vid & result thread, why not just make the vid and result thread WITHOUT spoilers? Or, make a seperate thread for results and a seperate one for videos.

I was thinking about something similar too!

Of course I understand how much work goes into making a post with the videos for even just a segment (thank you Mao88 and everyone else ) and, well, no need to change the format - there were good reasons for selecting this, such as better overview of the results and archiving purposes, IIRC.
Still, I believe that with some collaborative effort and patience we can add this extra no-spoilers list, since it would benefit quite a lot of us here, especially those in very different timezones. Yes?

...Which brings me to my own suggestion, actually more of shameless begging (pretty please? with an extra coffee on top? :coffee:): would it be possible to collect posts with livestream links of DELAYED broadcasts, here or in a separate thread? For instance, someone can't watch the Men's SP live (too late at night, etc), but wants to catch it spoiler-free the next day. Of course CaroLiza_fan's very useful post tells them when to tune in to one of the Eurosports, but I was thinking it would be more efficient if we have a place where people can go, "heads up, recorded broadcast of [segment] starting now on [link]".
Should we try this, then? :)

My primary interest would be to watch the videos without knowing the results, but if consolidation of threads is the goal, I am happy (as the thread starter) to state that I am totally fine with links to live streams of delayed broadcasts being included in this thread here. I wouldn't mind a live stream of a delayed broadcast, but that involves timing things right and having a fast enough internet connection, something I often lack.

Anyway, as I posted upthread, MANY thanks to anyone willing to get videos in here so that some of us can watch them without knowing the results.

We can always just have videos in competition skating order and invisible results in the original thread. Use white color for the text of the score and placement for each competitor. Those wishing to know just have to highlight the white/invisible part.

E.g. Highlight the following invisible part or the whole sentence:

Some people actually want to know the results with the videos.

I'd also appreciate this. With the time differencebetween Boston and Europe it's not going to be possible for me to watch large chunks of this live :(

Violet Bliss,

I think your idea is perhaps ideal if anyone is willing to do that somewhere that's clearly marked as such. However, with two video threads open already, perhaps this thread here should just be competition skating order (or group skating order).

You know, I have lately been happy to see the results so I can decide which videos to watch, but this is worlds and the end of the season... I have a feeling I would appreciate the skating more if I watched the videos as a competitive event and I didn't have any already-seen-results influencing my viewing ;).

I hope this is what you had in mind. No points, just starting order.
Note: Some of these videos are geoblocked for me, so I only see that they exist, I haven't watched them yet, therefore if there are any mistakes, sorry 'bout them, but can't help it. Need to find a new youtube unblocker first. Also I'm probably not gonna be able to do all segments, like I did during EC.
Unless stated otherwise, links go to youtube.

Thank you for posting these videos. Couldn't see the Russian vids because of my computer's security alert. I always enjoy British commentary although I don't always agree with their impressions.

Thanks! Just in case it matters to you: I'm not picky with 360p or whatever. Just to see videos linked in this thread is enough for me :big grin:.
