I don't understand how people care about WRs in figure skating She was awesome imo Not better than Yuna's Olympics performance (for me, not even biased) but she's really good.

There was .....a lot of smiling in the second half of that program. She didn't perform it like that on the GP or GPF.....interpretation was way off.

Yup. I had flashes of Meagan Duhamel when she lands everything. Doesn't matter what the program is about, she smiles through it.

Im starting not to like this showing off on purpose, especially in international competition. It's like "I can do whatever I like and Zayak the hell out of this world because I know i am gonna win anyway". This is NOT good.

I love it. The ladies need someone to push the sport forward. Nathan didn't need to do 5 quads to win and nobody accused him of showing off.

This is what happens when the system is played at its best. No points are going to be taken from her, there's really nothing stopping her from making a bold statement about her skating. Like it or not, she's running away with it because she can.

Yes and it's so calculated and contrived. Tano jumps ad nauseum to milk points. For me there was no heart and soul in it at all. Give me the class of Kostner any day.

I'm just hoping that, since this year is about the transition from childhood to adulthood for her, the programs next year will reflect the...non-miming adulthood. I really want to like her, technically she is absolutely superb, but... Can't really bring myself to do that :hopelessness:
