Great height and distance on the first two jumps.

Hanyu's FS was better for mine, but the SP might have sealed this.

I lost my feed during Yuzu and only came back for the aborted 4S attempt... I was in such a panic!

Ok, nathan, good jumps, boring program... and when the quads aren't perfect it loses its appeal. I adore the short, but the long is just NOT up to par.

Well Nathan really battled mightily. He had a few slight bobbles on landings so won't get great GOE on a few jumps. But he was better than Yuzu. He had about a six point lead, and in my opinion should win, but won't get the PCS they throw at Yuzu.

Nathan beat Yuzu! but second in FS.

Jason... the jumps ain't perfect but overall that was a lovely performance.

Misha... looks really prince-ly . His Skate Canada Nutcracker remains to be one of the most memorable performances for me. This doesn't top that but I still think he did great, and I specially loved that final spin.

Grant... Shakey jumps and the program felt bland to me but nonetheless, good fight and effort.

Boyang... his jumps aren't there but the I find his stsq & chsq quite entertaining. And I still give him kudos for trying something different.

Patrick... expressive and nice skating (as expected). It was good and overall, I'm just relieved this didn't turn out to be as bad as the GPF.

Han Yan... oh my. That music cut I am not pleased with. The first half was okay, and he was expressive. Overall a shakey performance and I wish he could've had more passion in his performance.

Shoma... Shoma's skating is not my cup of tea. That aside, overall I thought he still did well but err...I still can't connect his skating to that opera singer.

Nathan... Nathan is definitely a talented jumper (though shakey, he managed to land them) but this program fell bland to me, until the final stsq, I find it quite empty. But congrats for the win.

Yuzuru... had my heart racing the entire performance. That combo is really damming but overall I thought he performed this program better than ever. And that shower of gifts after, he is really loved. Congrats for a SB

Congratulations to the medalists Nathan, Yuzuru and Shoma.

Nathan, good job on those quads...but after watching Hanyu's program...the relative lack choreo/performance was really glaring. Nathan has a bit of a lead, so let's see where he ends up.

Yuzu's program was noticeably emptier tonight tho. Idk. Nathan's issue were his speed imo. got really slow near the end there.
