2017 Four Continents Pairs SP

this thread is slow... which means another drink... oh oh... i don't think my liver will forgive me for this.

Have you ever tried getting school children to sit down for hours? :laugh2:

Ok so I was at the Ontario University Athletics' Varsity level figure skating championships this afternoon in Niagara Falls, solely to watch the synchronized skating event. It was only 45 minutes long, but do you think my 8 year old could sit still for longer than ten seconds? The answer is no, she was all over the place. Good lord.

(Varsity figure skating is big in Ontario universities, for those who don't know)

You better be careful drunky.. someone is going to liberate their favourites from your harem.

Their twist is really good, and so is their throw. They are a strong team overall and probably would have scored in the 70s without the botched spin. A 66 is low for them.

All this is true, and I usually adore that program. It didn't connect with me tonight for some reason ... which may well be me. I guess I'll chalk that performance up to another of my complaints with the scoring system. Something that disrupting to the program is bad, to me, and the fact that tech points override it is problematic for me, whatever the rational answers.

:thank: to everyone for your answers. :

Why Japan keeps on investing foreign born pair skater, when they won't sponsor his citizenship?

Its hard to find guys willing to do pairs in Japan so its a last resort kind of thing. And their citizenship requirements are really strict...I think exceptions are rarely made. Something completely out of JSF's hands.
