This audience is sooooooo small for a worlds audience. I hope they start coming in soon.
It's probably hard since it's the middle of the day there. 2 PM means locals who might go are probably still at work.

Why are there 5 skaters in group 6 and 7 in group 7? It seems a little strange.
I am totally biased, being a fan, but I really enjoyed that.
For those that have not come across Elisabetta before, I first saw her 2 or 3 seasons ago, and was instantly impressed. But the second time I saw her, at the 2015 Lombardia, she had the scariest fall I have ever seen.
She was wearing white stockings, and within minutes of the fall you could see this big massive bruise shining through it. I was convinced she had broke her leg.
She had to have medical attention on the ice, and had to be taken off on a stretcher in a head brace (she took a bad bang to the head as well).
But, she was back competing again just 2 months later, setting what was at the time new PB's in every segment.
Just shows how strong she is.

It is strange. There aren't supposed to. Be more than six to a group.

The real problem is the audience is mostly other skaters, coaches, and their families..... will the two fans please wave?![]()

Anita Ostlund and Xiangning Li have the same total WS points. Since groups are partly formed by clustering the skaters by WS points, there's really no "tiebreaker" if two are tied and the lowest ranked in their cluster. Hence, the group of 7 and the group of 5.

Funny you should mention that. There was a series on a few months ago on BBC NI about the impact that people from Ulster had made on Canada (New Zealand and America had been covered in previous years). And they mentioned that every mayor of Toronto up until something like the 1930's was from here!
Yeah, a lot of places are having their celebrations tomorrow. But, Dublin are having their parade today, and we always watch it on the TV every year.
Green cupcakes?! Now that is something different!
Good idea! I think I'll watch Rika Hongo's FS from last season later on. (Not that I ever need an excuse to! It was my favourite programme of all of last season!)

I though since Japan is relatively closer, we'd have a bigger crowd...
These ladies have worked so hard for this and there's hardly anyone to see it.

I would have thought lots more Japanese fans.....Maybe it's just entered/displayed wrong and it will actually be 6 and 6. When I saw the group of 5, I thought someone had W/D after the flights were set. Since you pointed out the group of 7, I think maybe it was a typo. We'll see in 12 minutes when the next warm-up group takes the ice.
Someone already stated that two of the girls have exactly the same rank, so they need to skate in same group...
Interesting. I don't see why the tiebreaker could be a coin flip or rock paper scissors, but it will be interesting to see 7 skaters in one warm up group... I've never seen that before.
