Never heard tell of Kurbanov before, but he was better than I was expecting. (He was the penultimate skater when ordered by absolute PB).
He wasn't happy, but 13th with 1 to go is pretty good considering where he was in terms of PB's.

I think the first group really got shafted on PCS. Dima should not be over 2 points lower than Samarin, come on.

According to TAT it's the first time she has seen him too. In spite of the fact that it's his fifth NationalsSamarin's score was inflated as hell.
Well, at least there is a chance to not see Kovtun at Euro, but Aliev is in a bad position too.
First time i've seen Andrej Lazukin, coached by Mishin: he's not bad imo.

Nope! Lord Samarin was cool! So speed skating, not so good skating skills like Dima's, but he is fast! And nice jumps and spins. :agree:
Btw, he is from CSKA too. I didn't know. Well, it's good, that means he could beat Kovtun at free skate! At least will get not so big PCS handicap.
