2018-19 South Korean figure skating

i've read somewhere that juniors can compete at Challengers. I'm not too familiar with the rules so if someone can clarify it for us

Agewise Yelim is senior eligible. I think she wants to get TES minimum for 4CC.

you have a good point!
I also forgot that Yelim is senior-eligible

whaaa!?!
I thought Yelim is staying as a junior this season

She can do both. Dabin did the JGP in 2015-16 and then went to senior Worlds. I am happy to see Yelim get a Challenger. Seems like a good way to prepare her for later in the season.

Can’t wait to see Dabin and Eunsoo fight for the lone Worlds spot. I think Eunsoo will, but Dabin will put up a big fight too. I wish So Youn Park will get consistent and perform like how she did for her 2014 Worlds FS in Saitama.

It's already JGP tomorrow! I pray that both You Young & Jihun have clean skates, that would be fantastic. Overall i wish nobody gets injured! :hap57: i'm very excited! off season was so boring

Why was Young You’s score so much lower than the two other ladies????? I don’t understand. Did she get lower levels on spins? Less GOE? An UR ? What was it? I don’t think she shoulda been 3 points behind Tarusina.

She had an UR call on her 3Lz+3T and a ! call on her 3F. Also she had her combo in the first half unlike Anna T and Anna S. Her protocol is here if you'd like to take a look.

I think she could have been 2nd without the ur on her 3t. She’s an amazing performer.

First JGP medal for You Young, she was 3rd and won Bronze with score of 183.98 :) There were couple of shaky landings and she was off the music and missed the ending but overall it was good competition for her and I see all the improvements in her skating!

The best part was she laughing about missing her final pose. So lovely!

By the way, each time I watch her she reminds me more and more of a girl from Terrace House. [emoji23] I can’t recall her name now. But I always thought they look alike, specially when she laughs.
Anyway, I’m totally off topic now.

Great job from You Young! I’m waiting for the protocols. Pretty sure they weren’t as nice to her as they were to some other skaters...

She looked so happy, i hope this means she's gained confidence & will deliver beautifully in her next competitions :luv17:

by the way, Ji Hun To also did a pretty good job! Not perfect but she was committed to her performances. :luv17:

Yes, I thought she was going to get upset but she just laughed it off! That's always a good sign! :luv17:
