2018 JGP Yerevan Ladies Short Program

Like Ted said I had no idea what to expect with Bristena and her costume, but I really liked that song and her performance!

A lot of her arm movements seemed very well timed to the music. You go, girl!

Also is anyone getting a Leonova vibe from Bristena's costume?

Bristena Patricia PRODEA (ROM) - 33.96

2F
2A - two footed and UR, her set up made me laugh :P
2Lz! - 2Lo

she went over the music and got a deduction.

Already seen rest of the girls from the first group. Anny is lovely, just like the lyrics say. Pity about the interrupted combo.

Underscored IMO, she deserved an higher PB.

That's what I think about Anna Tarusina too :)

I thought he did the JGPF. I still remember him gasping involuntarily at Sasha's 3F-3Lo.

I was talking about a couple of seasons ago. I didn't get a chance to follow the Juniors last season because I was following the snooker. But, I've given up on snooker this year - there's just too much of it now.

Teekhree SILPA - ARCHA (THA) - 24.79

2A - two footed and UR
2Lo - two footed - 1Lo ?
2F - harsh landing but done, might be UR

OMG people actually do watch snooker? I always wondered... ;) But Eurosport loves to put it on.

Aliksandra's music is nice, I like it! (Someone else skates to it, but I have no idea who...)

Aliaksandra CHEPELEVA (BEL) - 42.40

3Sal - turnout - 2T - she might have touched down with her free foot so not sure if it will be ratified
2A - very stiff landing but done
2F - nice and easy

Sometimes in the evening. Better than sleeping pills

Shame about the fall, it was going so great until then (the distance in the 2A, wow).

Yuhana YOKOI (JPN) - 57.62

3Lz - 3T - so high wow, she fought hard for the Lz landing but made it work, the 3T was so fast!
2A
3F - fall

Shame about the flip, she was doing so well.

Edit: and now I discovered I'm in wrong thread

And while ice resurfacing goes on I'm going to take a hot shower.

Yes. But, I had a hard disc recorder that let you recording things and then watch it back at 1 ⅓ times the original speed, whilst still letting you listen to the audio (a lot of machines don't let you listen to the audio). And because the commentators talked so slow normall, you could still understand what they were saying when speeded up!

Unfortunately, that machine died on me about a month ago, and I am having bother finding a replacement that does the same things. (I have actually got to the stage that I am looking at second hand ones of the same model. And I am the sort of person who is wary of second hand electrical devices, as you don't know their history. But, even though they are second hand, the sellers are still looking the price that I paid for mine when it was brand new!)

I printed out the calendar, and this season you have something like 8 weeks solid before there is a few days of a break, and then another 8 weeks solid, and so on. With the calendar being so jam packed and my machine being broken, I decided it would be better to just cut it out completely.

It is just too much for even the keenest viewer to watch. So, I dread to imagine what it is like for the players.

At least with figure skating, the skaters don't all compete every single week. And there are a few rest days between competitions.

And I am going to restart the computer while I make my dinner.

Need to be back in time for Group 3, because I see Ilayda Bayar is in it

(She's 19, so it's alright! :agree: )
