Double axel is required element in junior ladies' short

You cannot do a triple axel in the junior short program.

2A is the required element in the junior SP. She still has 3As planed in the FS.

I'm not sure I find Trusova's jump quality to be better than Kostornaia. Both are excellent - though Trusova obviously has higher BV. Kostornaia has better spins.

I'm just frustrated seeing little to no differentiation between Kostornaia's level of expression, nuance, and the finishing in her movements compared to Trusova. Trusova is a cute little daredevil, but there's no depth or nuance.

(Lol I'm also still mad Evgenia lost OGM.)

Trusova jump quality is better than Kostornaia's via the Lutz alone. Trusova has no such weakness and that's not a very difficult case for a +3 GOE Lutz for Trusova. Kostornaia transitions are better most of the time but Trusova's are quite good also and the jumps are higher and more effortless. The technique is much prettier also. Trusova's Flip, Lutz are total eye candy in their effortlessness.

So, in the junior worlds, isn't Ted with us?? I hope he is here commentating.. Ice Network is kinda boring without Ted, and especially I don't like sound turned off during the warm up.

She's such a talent, but left Mishin. Not sure what's going on her with her now. Maybe the US should recruit her? She has an innate musicality and capacity for beautiful movement.

There was also Samodurova who is still with Mishin.
