2018 Junior World Championships Ladies SP

Are Samodurova and Nugumanova old enough to compete senior next year? I hope they choose to do so, they would slip through the cracks in juniors next season, the technical content just keeps getting more difficult and neither is the best jumper.

Are you talking about Nugamonova (probably spelled that wrong)?

She's such a talent, but left Mishin. Not sure what's going on her with her now. Maybe the US should recruit her? She has an innate musicality and capacity for beautiful movement.
oh, yes Nugamonova was there, too!! I miss her and all for recruiting her!! :yahoo:

There was also Samodurova who is still with Mishin.

Go Kirsten :cheer2:

There is Sofia Samodurova, which she perhaps meant. She's quite fun to watch =)

Yep , That's her!! Sofia! She skated to Have Nagila. :hap93:

I don't know much about Nugumanova, but Samodurova will be 16 and I believe she has the minimum scores to compete at the senior level. There's a rumor going around that she may start competing for Israel instead of Russia, which would be awesome!

Can this not turn into ANOTHER Russian ladies thread? The men’s turned into it yesterday too

Dastich's costume's neckline seems a bit too risque for a junior skater... Or maybe I'm old fashioned.

I like the finishing pose for Spours.
She seems very pleased ;)

I thought she would score slightly higher and place herself in top 10 at this moment, but score close to her PB and 14th place for now is not bad.

Nicely done from Lea. But she isn't the greatest performer, I wonder what kind of music would fit to her?
