The camera work at this comp is so weird! Is it always like this?

Honestly with camera work this bad we can just pretend Alina showed up at the last minute skated great and won.

A very rough one from Polina... Patchy skate, little flow and more like pushing through, no confidence and attack, jumps were not there or very weak...

Too bad that the jumps were such a struggle for Polina today, because I really like the music and program for her. She had good commitment throughout, despite her struggles. She has really nice arm movements, but I wish that she would straighten her legs (especially on her illusions!). Purple is a nice colour for her.

Jumps aside, I felt like I was watching three parts of a different program.

Polina looks good in purple, but I don't get why there has to be a nude patch on her chest.

I like Polina's LP way more than her SP. Her dress is gorgeous too. But the jumps were really off today, it's just the beginning of the season, I hope she will work on them and come back with a clean skate at the next comp. She is so graceful, so elegant, it's a pity :sad21:
