Now the gold should be between Rika and Elizabet, and either Polina or Stanislava on the podium. What do you think?

Day 3, it's raining outside today, I am already at the rink watching ID practices right now. As for yesterday's Ladies FS practice - Rika looked really strong, both 3A solo & in combination looked good in run-through, one fall, but very nice flow with the music. Stanislava had to fight for some jumps, a lot leaning forward in landings, Polina looked unsure and slower than I used to see her. Elizabet looked solid, actually a nice music and choreo with strong emphasis on jumps to the music cues, one pop and one step-out during run-through.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if she got more points than Evgenia.. at least I'm sure I'll like her dress and program more..

Welcome to the Ondrej Nepela Trophy or as I like to call it Watching Figure Skating from the cheap seats.

Is it just me or are there a lot of Romeo and Juliet's this season between seniors and juniors?

I am there, hello everyone from the stands!!! :) :) :), last day, but I am on the duty from 8.00:) plus constant re-watch of ACI, never too much skating

Sounds like a lot of fun :)

Meanwhile Danielle's coach looks like a barrel of laughs

Hello BeatriceFace (I have given you a name for your face)

Having fun?

Very stern, britishy stiff upper lip kiss and cry.

The cameraman does seem to have lost their close up lens...

Better have the sounds off than listen to these Romeo and Juliet music cuts :palmf:

Oh is that what the music is from - I didn't recognise it! Sure had a lot of music cuts.

In other news...I hear Edvin Marton music, I love his work :)

Wait the camerman found their close up lens, but lost the pan and scan, Alisa almost spun off screen :laugh2:

So any skater we're particularly looking forward to? I haven't caught up on Li'l Bet yet so I'm looking forward to seeing her FS! BTW is her mother there?

Beatrice, I am laughing :) :) :), yes, the fun is real, it is sad to get back to reality. But it crossed my mind to go to Nebelhorn just on Friday and buy sunflowers for Piper and Paul ;)

The best mom is there, a lovely woman, always smiling:)

Green dress alert! Looks very pretty Hyunsoo!

Ooo I like this Spanish guitar music.

She seems like a real sweetie! Very supportive of her daughter :)

What this singing though? Hyunsoo you should have stuck with the guitar.

Uhoh it's a duet and I'm scared...

Seriously this music is just...bad. Bring back the random Romeo and Juliette music!

Just tuned in, and Don Quixote in green? Now that's something unexpected.
