People will be pissed off if T&M medal, probably more than D&R. Just saying...
I made sure to pause the stream and then resume after GS loaded so I would not miss anything juicy erm I mean pertinentNBC getting nosey tonight on the pre-show: all up in Maddie and Zach's former romantic relationship. Giving us all the receipts:dev2:

I don't think people have problems with T/M medalling. Just that their FS isn't good enough for gold, and they feel that they'll be overmarked on PCS for it, like yesterday.

Me too, but also because I actually kind of like them(okay, and I don't need candyman medalling, much less gold)
I think they chose a program that highlights their skating well. This is important and the opposite of T/M. Additionally, I love how intense Megan is and how much improvement she has made in things like extension and even skating skills. I love teams that show real improvement even when they aren't so young. so I also hope they medal. I am also hoping that S/M pull of an amazing freeskate and win at least silver because Aliona is flat out amazing and Massot has made so much improvement. However, I really love all the pairs so nothing will upset me greatly.

All I'm hoping for tonight is fair judging for all the competitors, and may those with the top TES /cleanest/best level 4 components be the ones who actually win the medals! Yes, I have some favorite pairs, and there is one LP in particular which I feel is artistically 'beneath' that pair, BUT in the Olympics, the technical side always seems to win over the artistic--as it should. Guess I can't quite figure out the 'hate' I see expressed towards certain teams/programs/costumes, etc.

Those certain "fans" know from a long time that Medviedeva gets gold, it is settled
First Olympic skating event where I am stuck at work!
Fortunately, I work a one-person desk job (which means no one to disturb me)
Hopefully this stream will remain up. It has been my saving grace during NBC's (lack of) coverage: twitch.tv/fslive1 :agree:
Actually, their coverage has been superior to NBC imo. NBC wouldn't have gone broke if they had just allowed anyone to stream on their computer whether they had cable or not.

It has worked for several days. That streamer usually does not begin streaming until a minute or two into the warmup though
