I do support them and I can't fault them for their technical skills. But I'm inclined to agree with you, it makes me totally scream 'Bring Back Stolbova/Klimov'!!! They are second to none in charisma.
And the funniest thing is they put sm in front if sh. Seriously...+1 for sm's jump?so angry to see it
Separate SP and LP please. T/M were amazing here. Yes, they deserve their PCS and all the high GOEs on elements which are just the absolute best. It's normal to be biased but they deserve nothing but 2nd place here.
D/R should have been lower than Y/Z who were just wow. Not significantly, but here there is a difference in PCS. Don't agree with that.
Sui/Han skate clean = game over.
Hope S/M can redeem themselves. Sometimes it's about forgetting the competition and letting it all in emotionnally, the rest will follow.
I wished Candyman was not the Last LP of the night tomorrow :/
The battle ofr bronze is really open though.

D/R skate not so polished today, composition looked not synchronized on elements, jumps, spins, so I would give more pcs to Vanessa & Morgan. It's pair skaiting, not individual.. you should skate like one man like S/H or T/M to get those pcs.
1. No, they don't deserve that PCS.
2. I don't think anyone argues their placement, just their PCS. Technically, they were the best today.
Being biased has nothing to do with it, 99% of figure skating fans agree that TM are boring, lack chemistry and charisma, and their programs are completely uninspired. There should be a serious PCS gap between them and SH.

Man, pair girls/ladies are so brave. Even the ones that do single throws and twists. Just being held upside down while going at speed... I really can't say anything bad about any of these pairs. I thought the overall quality of the competition was good too, better than Team Event.
Of course also happy for my ultimate favorites Sui and Han (if I'm being cheeky I'll say Ms. Sui is even my no.1 lady at these Games :yay
, but I don't want them to win because their rivals are making mistakes 
hopefully the Free will be a showcase in quality from all the top teams!

lol my non-FS fan friends often complain about the "boring classical/ballad" music in FS, I wonder if they would embrace ~The Candyman or not
It's weird to think that in Sochi, Matteo&Nicole were the 16th pair to qualify for the FS with 51+ points. At that stage of his career, Matteo had only few years of on-ice experience behind him (he switched from roller skating to figure skating around 2010) plus he skated with a busted knee that would require surgery and he fell in the short... but they still qualified. Now in Pyeongchang Harley&Katya scored 10 points more, had no falls and no pops and yet that was only good enough for 18th place.
This current pairs field is crazy deep!

So what about the 1% of fans, like myself, who really enjoy T/M's programs? Are you suggesting that we're blind, not "proper" fans?
I for one I getting really annoyed at the hate thrown at T/M, suggesting that they - or their coaching team are paying off judges to get their marks is the lowest of the low.
I enjoy S/H as much as the next person, but I don't believe it's the end of the world if T/M win or that figure skating is 'broken' if they do.
I mean damn, when T/M were doing the 'typical' pairs skates you all called them boring, they try new things are you call them 'embarrassments' and that they're 'ruining pairs skating'.
At least be honest and admit you don't like them and they couldn't skate in any manner that would make a difference to you.

THe thing is... they manage to make even Candyman boring. So it ends being ANNORING. Combination of annoying and boring.
you should watch the earlier groups more and see how they get dinged for bad programs. It's just unfair that T/M get the PCS with this program (the FS) while a lot of other great skaters with better programs don't.
I don't dislike them, I think (and I said) that their technical elements are very impressive, but I do think it's unfair to the other pairs when they're getting those PCS. It also doesn't help them, because it doesn't push them to actually grow in this area.
And if one day they actually start interpreting the music they skate to, I will be the first one to applaud it. But today, they don't deserve such high scores. They're getting them as a bonus for their SS and technical content. Much like Zagitova, who also doesn't deserve hers. It's one of the biggest problems of today's skating IMO.

But that's the point I like both their programs, I see nothing wrong with them!
The lyrics to Candyman are unfortunate, yes, but I love their costumes, I love their choreography and I think they have really good chemistry!
I thought their SP today was outstanding, now S/H definitely deserve to be first they're program was even better, but to suggest that T/M's program was anywhere near as bad as any of those other groups is ridiculous.
I find it horrible that people want them off the podium entirely because the don't like their Free program. They're two of the best pair skaters in the world and they've trained extremely hard for this.
If they perform Candyman with the quad twist and with energy and S/H (God forbid) fall on an element but still win then THAT would be the judging scandal to me.

T/M might not have the charisma of S/K or M/H but they deserve every point they can get. I wish them gold, and if they can't win it, then S/H should have it (with D/R in a good third position)
Even with Candyman (and it's really not my cup of tea, I've been saying this all season), they are not even half as boring as S/M. I really don't get the hype. Maybe Aliona still lives of past glories, maybe I'm blind.

PCS is composed of 5 areas. You can argue about the IN/PE but the problem is its that areas where it come very subjective. You might not like it but certainly some judges likes it. Even the judges who comes from their direct competitors seem to like it.
Honestly aside from S/M & S/H(maybe S/K) who among teams have better SS/TR/CO than T/M? some teams scores lower than T/M even if you think they have better program because frankly they are just inferior overall to T/M.
