Because the judges put Rippon behind Kolyada?
Yeah Rippon should have earned 9 points and 2nd place. That was all kinds of ridiculousness.

Alina winning the FS, esp with a WR, will 1) maintain her momentum; 2) break Med's momentum again; 3) set up the ladies showdown.

Most important question: Do we get Tanith back for Ice Dance finals?
I love Adam but where would his extra points come from? Unless the argument is that Patrick and Mikhail should have been scored lower? I think the judges gave Adam about as much PCS as they can. I love him and his spins are much improved but his skating skills, transitions, and composition of his programs (as in how much ice he covers, multi-directional skating, etc) are all below the other two. Yes, I preferred the overall performance but looking down at the blade there's not much I can complain about.
Nothing wrong with Patricks scores imo. I think there's something off on Mikhail's pcs scores with that program.

Alright, I now am praying to the FS gods that Gabrielle breaks out that rumoured 4T in this event. She's got nothing to lose, and what a way to lay it all down.
I actually have no idea how real this rumoured 4T is. I possibly just want Gabby to blow the whole world's socks off the way she has blown my off. I love her so much. I'm still pretty drunk.

I have to say, I am loving the race for bronze. I actually *like* the team comp, and I would like to see other countries take it more seriously.
Ya know, Virtue/Moir and Duhamel/Radford are real live medal contenders, yet somehow managed to find the time and fortitude to skate both programs in this comp. As did Chiddy. And I think Patrick may have learned from 2014, where he saved himself for the predicted individual gold.
Ice is slippery, and the TE may be your last best chance. So go for it

I was 14.5 years old and in 9th grade. And I was pretty different. In terms of social media and interests. Looks, not so much lol.
