A "wow" slipped out of him during Caro's footwork. Explaining some beauty of her skating, including the perfect figure a move would make on ice that is usually a mess when made by most skaters.

Carolina. I hope she does better technically in the single event. But, her SS are amazing. The Canadian commentators were waxing on and on about how the loops she leaves on the ice are so beautiful. I can only agree. It is art when she skates but if she wants to win she needs some more athletics in that program.

Alina looks so... juniorish to me. Everything about this says junior to me.
Evgenia has this serenity when she skates, which Alina lacks.
