It's so telling seeing Zagitova's posing and arm movements straight after seeing Kostner skate

Yeah, but her jumps are amazing. Just wish scoring would be accurate. TES out of the park. PCS middling. But, that is unlikely to happen. The first half of this program is so bad. She does not have the SS to make step sequences interesting.

Zagitova's skirt is so strange to me. I like the bodice and gloves, but the skirt is like a tutu but not quite a tutu. I know it's supposed to be a balletic program but it just bothers me, as do the tights half on the boots.

Great performance by Zagitova, but her jumps seemed to be a bit more labored than at Europeans, and I think her whole performance was a bit tighter. Oh well.
