Noone connects with each other more than Virtue/ Moir.
I'm really sad the Shibutanis are doing both segments. I hate that Chock and Bates or Hubbell and Donohue didn't get a chance at the team medal since they both have outscored the Shibutanis in the FD, plus H/D are the national champs. I know people wanted Mirai to get a medal, but I really don't get why they swapped out the ladies and not dance.
Osmond 4 Gold!!!
Disappointing they didn't give Weaver/Poje a medal too. Lack of fair team play.

Do you think Bradie could have gotten 2nd? I don't.
Ah Midori Ito did it in 1992 Oly, Mao Asasda in 2010, and now Mirai in 2018...
I'm sure I'm in a small minority. But I think it's a testament to the skill of V/M that they can sell the trivial choreography of that program. I also think the judges *like* trivial choreography because they think interpretation is just making a motion that matches the music. V/M actually moved into this *obvious* approach as their career went forward, so I think they are aware of it. A fast two-note beat - bob your head. Staccato sforzando - slam your arms. Soaring, sognando crescendo - time for soaring lift. String tango riff - time to shift your body with a shoulder slush. It strikes me as obvious.
The French aren't better though.
I am so sad for Weaver & Poje, they deserve so much more respect from their fed.
how come Rippon lost to Kolyada? Too lazy for protocols.
