Can we at least wait for the actual skate?
Well deserve can be interpreted many ways including longevity, being cheated out in the past, etc. But it won't matter we will just wait for the medal ceremony

In V/M world, V/M are technically superior in every way and should be way ahead of P/C. In their minds, V/M are better artistic skaters, as well, since P/C perform the same FD every year, and because, you know...Tessa studied ballet. And if someone dares to prefer P/C or criticize V/M's artistry...well, those people are just giving subjective opinions...but, objectively, everyone knows that V/M are wonderful artistic skaters and should score as high as anyone.
V/M fans live in their own reality. They are like Roger Federer fans in tennis. They literally can't comprehend why anyone would prefer another athlete. They don't understand that other people may value and want to reward different things. And so they blame politics and Didier and Marina...or they say that the rules need to be changed because V/M not winning is making a mockery of the sport.

In my opinion P/C are definitely more elegant skater/dancers and have beautiful movement quality but V/M are just so artistically amazing and awesome to watch. I think either could take gold based on what they've both done this season but I hope it's 1, 2 whether it be V/M first of P/C first

I didnt say that some super die-hard french fans are better. But look at the comments here : V/T are much better skaters overall and deserve OGM 2 days before competition but p/c will win because the fix is in.

I'm bummed that the twitch streamer got banned...now I have to watch on the NBC Olympics app. I'll be watching it like an hour or and hour and a half after I get home from the airport tomorrow. Lol. Dedication!

Yeah, a conspiracy. That's what I meant. Wasn't an opinion. At all.
While yes, some comments here are irritating because they talk about how the fix is in, but what's more irritating is how there usually ends up being more posts like yours complaining about the VMs fans who are talking about how the fix is in.. Both are irritating... both should stop... both will continue doing whatever they want. so why don't we stop complaining about something that hasn't even happened yet and just enjoy our faves.

Considering how many thousands of people went to nationals and nobody complained about that "Carmen crotch lift", I'm guessing these are crib notes from NBC trying to avoid offending viewers during the so-called "Family Hour", the same hour they used to play such harmless family-friendly programs like Friends ... oh, wait. :eyeroll:
Tarasova said that the original crutch lift was much better in her opinion.

Well... I didn’t actually say that YOURS in particular were irritating. Just when there are a lot of comments like yours. But I’d say that complaining and talking bad about all fans is more irritating than someone saying that vm deserve to win so... take that how you will.

There are lots of reasons to like Virtue/Moir--if they win gold, I won't feel that they've stolen it--but, like every other team, they have their limitations. they are not unbeateable

I’m really excited for ID, especially to see who gets third (as I assume P/C and V/M have top two placements locked up). As between the US teams, I’m torn. I like S/S sd best by some margin, but honestly I like all of their fd’s, and whose I like best seems to depend on which I’ve watched most recently, lol. And they all seem like wonderful people with heartwarming back stories of hard work, perseverance, disappointment, etc. I guess if I had to say, my slight preference would be for the Shibs, not necessarily bc I like their FD more, but bc they were responsible for my starting to follow ID more closely again w their Fix You program. Best of luck to all the teams!
